today was so low-key I can't even stand it. I attempted to sleep in (after waking up at 6.30), got up and watched some of "The Fast and the Furious" that was on tv, and then decided to actually put on pants and go to town. one last movie for 2009, and it ended up being "It's Complicated." ( thoughts. )

yes, as I said in my last post, after I dropped Fiona off at home, I ended up going to Scarborough to see another movie. I'd hoped to see "Boondock Saints" again, but I'd missed the early showing and the late wasn't until 11pm, so I ended up going to see "The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus" instead. ( thoughts. )

I spent almost the entire day with nafs, and pretty much was gone for all of it. we met up to go see "Sherlock Holmes," again for both of us. ( thoughts from a better angle. )

today after working all night I came home and slept five hours, and then went to see "Sherlock Holmes." ( thoughts. )

my ear hurt, and things were happening at work that frankly, I didn't want to deal with. so. three more days until weekend!

sigh.

anyway, after sleeping in, I went to town to get some sinus meds to deal with my ear, then I went to the movies. I saw "The Princess and the Frog," and I have no real spoilers, other than to say that I LOVED IT. ( Read more... )

I am in Etobicoke, in a hotel that someone who is not me is paying for, going to a week-long workshop which is only six hours a day and offers me two free meals. tonight, after we broke, I went to the movies. you want to guess what I saw? if you said "Boondock Saints," you would be right! ( with five you get. . .fic ideas? )

seriously, the beginning of "Return of the Jedi" is one of my favourite movie starts ever. well, the first hour. well, I kind of love the entire movie. SAVE YOUR SISTER, LUKE.

anyway, today was very quiet, thank goodness. I slept in, made a pot of minestrone, threw in some laundry, and then went to the movies. ( you know you want to hear what I thought of The Blind Side )
